Brief history: The British Government had granted the
permits for the construction of this residence in 1938. The
property was used as a shelter for the children of 5
English Noble's during the Second World War. In effect,
between 1938 and 1945 many children lived in this residence
before returning to their country of origin once the
conflict ended. During this era, the residence was
comprised of 11 bedrooms and a dormitory of 25 beds in the
